Anaheim Convention Center: During the NAMM2009 Winter Convention, which opens here today and runs until January 18, Bricasti Design will reinforce its commitment to the development of leading-edge signal processors for music-recording studios, post-production, film re-recording stages, broadcast-TV and audio-mastering facilities.

In 2004, Brian Zolner and Casey Dowdell created Bricasti Design to bring Casey's fresh ideas in algorithmic reverberation to a worldwide market that Brian had developed over the previous 20 years. Since the introduction in 2007 of its Model 7 Stereo Reverb Processor, Bricasti Design has received both public acclaim as well as hundreds of personal correspondences that evidence a growing and enthusiastic user base.  As a result, the M7 is now in regular use within more than 23 countries, well over half of the company's expanding sales being outside of its own home country.

The unique sound of the M7, which offers acoustic realism as well as the "better than real" sounds and control only available in algorithm-based reverberation, has gained strong acceptance in music, film and broadcast production.

In 2008, Bricasti Design completed it original vision of a complete reverberation system with the introduction of its Model 10 Remote Console. The M10 lets users bring together up to eight M7s for either multiple stereo or surround applications, creating a single integrated system with a single point of control.

The M7 Stereo Reverb Processor provides the highest level of musicality and ease of control imaginable in a processor dedicated to the task of reverberation. Incorporating a modern, high-resolution digital design, utilizing an array of the latest DSP processors, the M7 provides a platform for the long overdue next step in reverb-processing algorithms. A separate, fully-differential analog section and dedicated transformer-based linear power supply provide enhanced analog specifications.

Recent high-visibility Model 7 customers include Grammy Award-winning engineer/producer Al Schmitt, working at Capitol Studio on sessions with Natalie Cole; producer/arranger/musician Rafa Sardina working on a number of successful CD projects; independent engineer/producer Chris Spilfogel working at Westlake Studios, Hollywood; and leading UK-based producer Cenzo Townshend working at his project facility, The Bunker in London's legendary Olympic Studios.
