BRICASTI TO HIGHLIGHT MODEL 7 STEREO REVERB PROCESSOR PLUS NEW MODEL 10 REMOTE AT MUSIKMESSE FRANKFURT
Puts control at the critical sweet spot while making acoustically sensitive adjustments.

Congress Center, Frankfurt am Main: At the upcoming Musikmesse 2009 International Trade Fair, to be held here from April 1 to 4, Bricasti Design will spotlight the flexible Model 10 Remote Console, a dedicated hardware remote controller for use with the innovative and highly acclaimed Model 7 Stereo Reverb Processor. "Sharing a consistent human interface with the Model 7 was an important design goal," says company co-founder and president Brian Zolner. "Consequently, the Model 10's control surface is simple, elegant and easy to use. The M10 puts control where and when you want it - at the critical sweet spot - while making acoustically sensitive adjustments within any mixing environment. Whether controlling one or multiple Model 7 processors, the M10 lets the user build a system to their precise needs." The M10 and companion M7 processor can be seen at Bricasti's German distributor, Mega Audio; Hall 5.1 Booth B67.

"The new Model 10 uses the same clear and easy-to-read displays as we provide on the M7," explains Zolner, "with the same human interface - plus the addition of MACHINE and SETUP keys - so there is no need to learn something new! We also offer simultaneous control of the M7 from both the M7's front panel and/or the M10 with a lock out."

The Model 10 features eight front-panel meters that display levels for four stereo audio sources, providing simultaneous metering of four connected Model 7s. Selection is by means of a dedicated MACHINE key on the M10. A dedicated SETUP key is provided for the M10's local memory, configurations and settings.

Recent high-visibility Model 7 customers include Grammy Award-winning engineer/producer Al Schmitt, working at Capitol Studio; producer/arranger/musician Rafa Sardina working on a number of CD projects; engineer/producer Chris Spilfogel working at Westlake Studios, Hollywood; independent mixer/engineer/producer Dave Reitzas, working at a number of leading facilities; and UK-based engineer/producer Cenzo Townshend working at London's legendary Metropolis Studios, and who recently received a coveted Best Mix Engineer Award from the UK's Music Producers Guild for his work with such artists as Kaiser Chiefs, Snow Patrol and Echo and The Bunnymen.
